How it works
How Permanent Holiday Lighting Works
Permanent holiday lighting is a set of LEDs installed one time along your roofline that you run from an app on your phone, all year. Here is what you get with a Midas system in Central Jersey.
Mounted Along Your Roofline
Lights are installed along your rooflines and eaves as one weatherproof system, so there are no strings to hang in the fall or take down in January.
Controlled From Your Phone
Every Midas system runs from an app on your phone. Change colors, patterns and themes, and go from warm white on a weeknight to red and green for Christmas in a few taps.
Any Color, Any Night
Holidays, school colors, a birthday or a soft warm white for everyday curb appeal. One system covers every occasion of the year.
Energy-Efficient LEDs
LEDs use less electricity than incandescent bulbs and last far longer, so running your lights every night stays affordable.

Pricing
How Much Permanent Christmas Lights Cost in New Jersey
Midas prices every permanent lighting system after a free measure, so the number is built on your actual roofline. These are the four things that move the price.
01
Length of Your Roofline
More linear feet of eaves and gutters means more lights to install.
02
Height of the Home
Two and three story rooflines take more equipment and time than a ranch.
03
Peaks, Gables & Dormers
Every corner and peak adds cuts and connections to the run.
04
Your Design Plan
Your 3D design plan sets how much of the home gets lit, from the front roofline to the whole house.
The measure and design are free, and you get a written price before anything is installed.

Good questions
Permanent Christmas Lights FAQ
What are permanent Christmas lights?
Permanent Christmas lights are LEDs installed one time along your rooflines and eaves that stay up all year. You control the colors, patterns and themes from an app, so the same lights work for Christmas, every other holiday and everyday accent lighting.
How much do permanent Christmas lights cost in New Jersey?
Midas prices permanent lighting after a free measure, because the cost follows the length of your roofline, the height of the home, the number of peaks and dormers, and how much of the home your design covers. You get a written price before anything is installed.
Can I change the colors from my phone?
Yes. Every Midas permanent lighting system runs from an app on your phone. You pick colors, patterns and themes, so you can switch from warm white to holiday colors, school colors or a birthday theme whenever you want.
Do permanent lights hold up in New Jersey weather?
Yes. Midas installs a weatherproof system made to stay outside year round in New Jersey weather. If anything needs attention, Midas handles bulb replacement and adjustments.
Should I get permanent or seasonal Christmas lights?
Choose permanent lights if you want your roofline lit for more than Christmas and never want another install or takedown. Choose seasonal Christmas light installation if you want trees, bushes and wraps for the holidays with a package from $950.
Do permanent LED lights use a lot of electricity?
No. LEDs use far less electricity than incandescent bulbs and last much longer, so running your roofline every night stays affordable.
Can businesses get permanent lighting?
Yes. Storefronts and offices use permanent lighting for branding, promotions and holidays without a yearly install. See commercial holiday lighting.
